When it was time to purchase urinary catheters again, I went on-line to At Home Medical as I had done before. There I found a brand I had not seen before, CURE. They were less expensive than the single use catheters I had purchased previously, but the description was nearly identical to the previously purchased brand, though they were packaged straight rather than doubled over. So I purchased them, and I was really pleased with their quality. The ends were well polished to permit smooth entry and exit, far superior to the inconsistent performance of the previous brand. Unless something changes radically with future purchases, CURE has found a lifelong customer.

Does exactly what it is supposed to. It's quite slippery, and hangs on to what you apply it to, ie: suppository, insertion tool or fingers if you move quickly. It could be a bit thicker to help it stay put, but it's not a huge concern.

Lubricating gel used (in my case) for insertion of urinary catheters. Instead of being smooth and consistent like K-Y or Surgilube, this lube was inconsistent, almost lumpy. Lousy quality or quality control. Suggest getting K-Y or Surgilube instead. Not much price difference and better product.

I bought these for my brother after he had trouble with his urologist's cheap catheters which were sliding down into the urethra and cutting off urine flow. They are excellent. No more problems and the price is excellent.

This is the only one we have tried that actually stays on. Not a negative, but because it is self-adhering or "sticky", we use baby oil to help take it off to prevent skin tearing.

The first order I placed was on an emergency basis. The only place in town that carried Ostomy supplies just quit stocking them and we were out of luck. I found At Home Medical online and the CSR was extremely helpful and I got my supplies the next day.

My son lives in a nursing home. He is 49 years young. He knows what works for him and what doesn't. He was using the Kendall. Well they changed the bag, and it did not drain like it should. So we tried the Bard and it works like it should. He said it works the way the Kendall did before they changed it. The Kendall Co. made theirs cheaper, but charged more. Bard is cheaper and works better. Drainage is very important for my son, it keeps him from having UTI and doesn't keep him wet from leaking.

This tubing is EXTREMELY stiff and kinks easily. It may be good for some applications, but I will not be able to use what I bought.

Everything that is needed for Catheterization less the catheter is found in this tray. I liked the fact that the gloves are in a sealed package within the tray. When you just get a box of gloves after opening you have this feeling that the next time you need them they are not clean. By getting this Catheterization tray you never need to worry about improper handling of your catheter

The catheters themselves are fine, the packaging they come in is a bit large though. I've gotten other brands that use about 1/3 as much packaging (each catheter). You'd think the manufacturers would like to do this not JUST because it's the right thing, but also they could save a ton of money... other than that I'm happy with the catheters.

Strong, held up to the abuse of a child. I clean them with vinegar every morning and have able to successfully reuse them for 4-7 days.

They do the job and last a long time.
Each morning I empty, rinse, wash with pump hand soap, rinse again and often rinse again with some rubbing alcohol and water and then air dry,hanging it in the tub. I usually replace it once a month.

My husband cannot make it to the bathroom during the night as he requires assistance and I was unable to function well with never being able to sleep through the night. Also, the disposable pads and pants did not always contain the urine requiring a bed change. He was developing areas of skin breakdown on his coccyx. The "rigs" allow both of us to sleep through the night. If he keeps it on throughout the day, life is also less complicated;however, he will develop ulcerations on his foreskin. Even with using a new one every night I think we are money ahead from buying all the incontinence pads, etc.

Have tried several less expensive catheters but none work as well for me as this one. This has just the right degree of stiffness for easy insertion.

My previous insurance company paid for my catheters, Coloplast, which are quite expensive. My new insurance company does not pay for catheters. So to save money I have been re-using the catheters for several weeks washing them after each use. As a consequence I have been hospitalized twice with severe UTI's. I then began buying the Cure Medical catheters which are low cost enough for single use. I am in the process of going through the formal process with my insurance company to convince them to pay for my catheters but in the meantime I will continue to purchase Cure Medical catheters. The only thin different between them and my previous Coloplast brand is the lack of a guide stripe but that is no big deal.

this product is perfect generally. the machine that made these broke and now the product is horrible. the adhesive does not stay and the smell seeps out from a gap where the adhesive comes loose. I want the old product back.

I've been catheterizing for 20 years and switched to cure catheters about 6 years ago. I've been completely happy with them - they make catheterizing feel like a reliable, almost normal activity.

This is the worsy lubricant I've ever used and I've been self-cathing for 16 years. The consistency is terrible and it is difficult to lube a catheter.

If you are not dealing with a latex allergy these are an excellent choice. They fit well on different size hands and give good sensory

My husband is a quadraplegic. I do the cathing. He was not circumsized and so it made keeping a condom cath on difficult for a good length of time. This natural external cath with an adjustable strap has worked extremely well. It is comfortable for my husband and has extended the amount of time he can go without having to be changed. It has helped me as his caretaker too from a time management and up keep with cleaning and sanitation.

If you are one who must regularly self-cath then the Coloplast-Mentor Self-Cath Straight Tip Catheters are the product for you if you want the best bang for your buck. There are more expensive catheters but after using the straight-tip for three years at three times a day I have that this product is excellent for the application.

Do to a spinal cord injury I sustained over 40 years again I have been wearing external catheters. I find the above titled product to be a well designed and superior product to other external catheters on the market today. I great big thank you to the manufacturers.

My insurance won't cover these, but I was happy to find At Home Medical, where the prices are considerably (like 73%) less than the horrible supplier to billed my insurance for 120 of these at $3.63 each! Crazy! At Home Medical gets these shipped quickly (usually without shipping charges) to the correct address (unlike the other supplier), and send the proper French size (also unlike the other supplier).

About every couple of years or so I get a UTI at the most inconvenient time, like on a camping trip in the middle of Nowhere, Pennsylvania, etc. Feature of old age I guess, so now I keep a few of these in my backpack.

Picture looked like what I have been using. I did not see the part about them being 16" long! :O) I do not need the length or the clip to attach to a bag. No problem, I can easily cut down to size and discard unused portion. Next time, I will get it right!

Due to prostate problems my urologist prescribed external catheters. The Pop On catheters are comfortable to wear. When I am on my feet all day this is myfirst choice. They are a lower cost than the Wide Band catheters. Also less of the skin is exposed to the adhesive. If I am sitting all day I have had a few of them start to leak so those days I wear the wide bands.

I have BPH with some urinary retention. Not a problem during the day but I have to get up a lot at night to urinate. If I self cath before bedtime I do not have to get up at night. A straight cath is painful. The olive tipped coude easily passes my enlarged prostate gland and does not hurt. This type of catheter is great

With medicare only allowing 180 caths a month, someone that drinks alot of fluids will blow through 180 caths way before the months up. Leaving someone without caths for the rest of it. Does what its suppose to do and easy to move it around, providing you remember that its attached and don't drag it. I've been replacing them at 2 month usage, and keep a spare on hand for emergency usage.

The only tubing holder I am familiar with that works well with a bedside bag. It seems to last well for 2 months so before needing replacement.

Overall, I rate this product Very Good compared to other similar products. However, the non-slip ribs irritate my skin and I must wear a leg sleeve under the straps for comfort. Also, the straps tend to roll up "pig tail" fashion after a few applications.

We are questioning what to do as far as showers with the belly bag on; we do not disconnect catheters here as we use the "closed system" rule because of infection concerns. How well do the straps dry after a shower? Any info from any one would be appreciated.

great bag hollds that extra amount you need and has a 36' line so I can make a loop for security from blowout of External catheter.use to come with leg straps now they sell them to you.and if not carefull with line at bag it can get blocked if at angle with out extra long input line(36").
