A soft silicone introducer tip offers a comfortable option to reduce the risk of infection since it allows the catheter tube to bypass the highest concentrations of bacteria in the first few millimeters of the urethra. MTG Jiffy Cath® Coudé Closed System Catheters have soft, fire-polished eyelets for a smooth, comfortable catheterization experience. In addition, the coudé tip helps to navigate more easily through strictures or around any obstructions that a straight tip catheter may not be able to pass.
