Use and care information

Use clean, dry skin without grease or cream. Warm the seal in the hands for 20–30 seconds, remove the discs, shape it, and apply with gentle pressure. Make a snug seal without gaps, but do not tighten around the stoma enough to interfere with normal function. Apply the appliance over the seal.

Do not apply to broken skin or open wounds. Consult a healthcare professional before use if the area is irritated, red, or uncomfortable. If these symptoms develop during use, stop and seek professional advice.

Single use only; reuse can cause contamination and impaired function. Store flat in the carton at 50–86°F, keep dry, and do not refrigerate.

How is the seal softened before shaping?

The manufacturer instructs warming the seal in the hands for 20–30 seconds before removing the protective discs and shaping it.

Can it cover an open wound?

No. The current IFU says not to apply to broken skin or open wounds. Its wound-related indication is for intact surrounding skin.
