Use and care information

Start with clean, dry hands and skin around the stoma, without oily substances. Trace the stoma on the release liner and cut just outside the outline. Leave at least 1/4" of barrier between the cut edge and the flange, then smooth the cut edge with a finger.

Remove the release liner, center the opening over the stoma and press the barrier against the surrounding skin for 30 seconds. Use a NATURA pouch with the same flange size. Align the pouch and barrier flanges, press them together from the bottom around to the top, and gently tug the pouch to check the connection.

Protect the stoma from trauma or injury. Wear the barrier only while it remains comfortable and secure; wear time varies.

ConvaTec warns that adhesive has been reported in the urinary tract of patients with a flush urostomy associated with megaureters and no urinary reservoir. If an adhesive mass is detected, a healthcare professional should initiate appropriate clinical care and assess whether to continue the adhesive product.

This device is for single use. Reuse can increase infection or cross-contamination risk and may reduce device performance. After use, handle and dispose of it as potentially biohazardous material in accordance with accepted medical practice and applicable local requirements.
