Dextra combines the catheter, collection bag, and handling features in one package. Follow the package instructions from opening through disposal.

Integrated collection bag

The straight-tip catheter is supplied inside a closed system with an attached 1,000 mL collection bag.

Reinforced finger loops

Finger loops are built into the package to provide defined opening and handling points.

Support band

A support band on the back of the collection bag helps stabilize the system during handling.

Advancing gripper

The gripper arrow advances the catheter with a forward stroke and is designed not to retract it on the back stroke.

  • A Support Band enables controlled use without the need to grip the device with two hands.
  • Easy to use for individuals who have limited dexterity.
  • Tip Advancing Technology moves the catheter out of the bag and into the body without contact.
  • A Gripper Arrow makes it easy to advance the catheter with each full forward stroke. The catheter does not retract with the full back stroke.
  • Provides support of research in pursuit of a CURE for SCI and CNS/D.
  • It is NOT made with DEHP/DINP, BPA, or Natural Rubber Latex.
