The hydrocolloid adhesive helps the pouching system conform to the skin. This accessory is used with an appropriate pouching system; it is not a complete pouch. The sheet is not made with natural rubber latex.

Measure and cut the sheet for the required fit. Apply to clean, dry, intact skin, then apply the pouching system as shown in the manufacturer instructions.

Peel the barrier away gently while supporting the surrounding skin. Dispose of it according to local requirements; do not flush it.

For single use. Reuse or attempts to clean, disinfect, sterilize, or reprocess the sheet can impair adhesion and lead to odor or leakage.

Avoid oils and lotions where the sheet will adhere, as they can weaken adhesion. Frequent Flextend barrier removal in a short period can damage skin.

Stoma shape, output, skin condition, and abdominal contours affect fit. Contact a stoma care nurse or healthcare professional for pouching or skin-irritation concerns. Report a serious product-related injury to the manufacturer or distributor and the relevant local authority.
