GentleCath Glide - 8" Hydrophilic Intermittent Catheter has a special coating along the length of the catheter and comes with a water sachet. You will burst the water packet, which activates the coating and creates a slippery surface, helping to reduce friction. Once this process is completed, the catheter is ready to use immediately, eliminating waiting time. This coating uses FeelClean technology, which reduces any residual solution on hands or clothing for mess-free cathing. The intermittent catheter also has a handling sleeve that can be gripped during insertion and removal, preventing you from touching the catheter itself. The color-coded funnel end helps identify the size of the catheter and also allows urine to easily drain into the toilet or other receptacle.
